§ 2-364. Staff review of application.
Before an application for a variance shall be considered by the city council, it shall be reviewed by the director of public works, the zoning administrator, the city attorney, and any other relevant personnel or professional consultants. Each staff member and consultant reviewing an application for variance shall endorse thereon his/her recommendation with regard to such request. Staff and consultants shall endeavor to complete their review within 30 days from the date a completed application is received by the appropriate department head. Upon completion of the review by staff and consultants, the application, along with their recommendations, shall be forwarded to the city secretary.
